NASA has released new close-up images from a camera orbiting Mars.

The images, from the HiRISE (High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment), feature terrain ranging from volcanic cones to frosted-over craters.
The telephoto lens on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter can zoom in on something the size of a beach ball from more than 288km away.
The orbiter has been circling the red planet for the past four years.
